"Best 100 Egyptian Films"

Egyptian film critic Saad el Din has created a list of what he feels to be the top 100 Egyptian films. His list appears at http://www.arab-celebs.com/article.asp?id=33 It's interesting to look over the list. I've only seen one of them (so far) - Abi Foq al-Shagara (My Father Is Up a Tree). There are several on the list, though, that are on my wish list of ones I'd like to watch. For example, Dananir and Fatma, both of which star Oum Kalthoum. It's also noteworthy that the list ends with 1969. This makes me wonder whether perhaps that's when this critic created his list.
